“I was planning a holiday to India with some of my childhood girlfriends when I attended a yoga workshop in Byron Bay presented by Yogrishi Vishvketu (Anand Prakash Ashram, Rishikesh India). After that class I went onto the ‘World Conscious Yoga Family’ website… It was just meant to be – a 200 Hour YTT Akhanda Yoga Course was scheduled for February 2015… A few calls later, I’m booked in and my friends are scheduled to meet me at the end of the course to travel India and Nepal for a further six weeks.

I settled into Ashram life with ease and my yoga studies with enthusiasm. The holistic approach of Akhanda yoga really resinated with me instantly. The course also introduced us to Meditation, Chair Yoga, Prenatal and Restorative Yoga.

Angela started her yoga journey in 2009 during a surf and yoga holiday in Portugal. Back in rainy Ireland, she started practicing ashtanga regularly and alignment based vinyasa with her teacher Sibylle Dallmann.

In 2015 after finishing a diploma in Naturopathy and Acupuncture, she took some time off from a corporate job to travel around Australia and came back to Ireland with a clearer path to further her studies in more esoteric and spiritual practices : tantra, reiki, meditation.. . And decided to do her yoga teacher training in 2017 (200hrs RYT)

Since then, she has taught classes and workshops in Ireland, Bali and now Australia where she is currently completing her 800hrs Cert in Purna Yoga, Byron Bay.

Whether you need a more active yang class –  Angela draws from her background in gymnastics and dance and her passion for acroyoga and acrobatics, to bring fun to her classes! Expect to sweat and laugh – or you may need some nourishing, softer yin classes, Angela’s style has a holistic flavour, a combination of asana, pranayama and meditation practices, and an intent to bring mind-body-spirit into balance.

Jan has practiced many types of yoga over some years.

She decided to do her Yoga Teacher Training for the benefit of acquiring more knowledge of the practice, re: spiritual, philosophy, anatomy, meditation/breath.

Jan came to realise that yoga is just not about the flexibility of the body, but its more working towards the clarity and calm of the mind through breath and opening up your heart, from there everything else just follows, leading to a healthy energised life.

Jan would like to think she can help guide any person, of any age, including children towards this goal.

Marina started her yoga journey in 2003, she was only 17 when she first stepped in a Yoga class. Seeking for spiritual answers and to learn more about herself, she found on Yoga the bright spark that she was looking for.

In 2017, after working for 10 years in corporate jobs in Brazil, she decided to leave everything behind and start a new adventure in her life. It was in Australia that she found the lifestyle that she always dreamed about with daily yoga practice, meditation, being in contact with nature, astrology, crystals, Ayurveda and sustainability.

Marina completed her 800hrs RYT Certificate in Purna Yoga, at the Byron Yoga Centre and is already planning to deepen her studies in India this year. Her classes have a holistic approach with a balance of pranayama, meditation and asanas. She believes that guiding students through a Yoga journey is an honour and a gift, as it has helped her own healing process she is passionate to share and help others as well.

Expect dynamic and gentle flows connected with the breath, with a positive attitude and always a big smile. She teaches in a safe way considering that each person is unique and has different body abilities. Her authentic way of teaching consider the moon phases and Astrology as she strongly believes that when we are in synch with Mother Nature, we are in sync with our true selves.
