“I was planning a holiday to India with some of my childhood girlfriends when I attended a yoga workshop in Byron Bay presented by Yogrishi Vishvketu (Anand Prakash Ashram, Rishikesh India). After that class I went onto the ‘World Conscious Yoga Family’ website… It was just meant to be – a 200 Hour YTT Akhanda Yoga Course was scheduled for February 2015… A few calls later, I’m booked in and my friends are scheduled to meet me at the end of the course to travel India and Nepal for a further six weeks.

I settled into Ashram life with ease and my yoga studies with enthusiasm. The holistic approach of Akhanda yoga really resinated with me instantly. The course also introduced us to Meditation, Chair Yoga, Prenatal and Restorative Yoga.

Lauren Cuthbert infuses everything she does with an easeful joyous energy and a whole hearted devotion to inner and outer connection.

Lauren brings to her teaching a depth that traverses from strength to deep vulnerability, sincerity to playfulness and alignment to freedom.

Lauren’s yoga journey began in her later adolescence as a way of healing in her life.

It didn’t take long to become a practice she longed to share with others, as the magic of yoga/meditation completely transformed her life.

Lauren completed her 200hr ytt at Krishna village in 2016, and then went on to teach yoga up in the Himalayas in India for 3 months following her training.

Lauren then found herself running yoga retreats and classes in Byron Bay and Melbourne on her return to Australia throughout 2017.

In 2018, Lauren moved up to the Sunshine Coast where she has taught at a few various different studios, dynamically teaching various different styles of yoga.

She completed her 300hr advanced yoga teacher training in Thailand with The FitFlowFly yoga school, with Bryce Yoga and Yoga Beyond in 2018.

Lauren is now back in the northern rivers, sharing her love for yoga through teaching classes, workshops and hosting sustainable yoga retreats.

She merges her love for the environment into her yoga teaching through encouraging people to connect to the elements, whilst connecting breath to movement.

Lauren is passionate about sharing the benefits of mind/body/soul connection, and creating life changing experiences for people.

Angela started her yoga journey in 2009 during a surf and yoga holiday in Portugal. Back in rainy Ireland, she started practicing ashtanga regularly and alignment based vinyasa with her teacher Sibylle Dallmann.

In 2015 after finishing a diploma in Naturopathy and Acupuncture, she took some time off from a corporate job to travel around Australia and came back to Ireland with a clearer path to further her studies in more esoteric and spiritual practices : tantra, reiki, meditation.. . And decided to do her yoga teacher training in 2017 (200hrs RYT)

Since then, she has taught classes and workshops in Ireland, Bali and now Australia where she is currently completing her 800hrs Cert in Purna Yoga, Byron Bay.

Whether you need a more active yang class –  Angela draws from her background in gymnastics and dance and her passion for acroyoga and acrobatics, to bring fun to her classes! Expect to sweat and laugh – or you may need some nourishing, softer yin classes, Angela’s style has a holistic flavour, a combination of asana, pranayama and meditation practices, and an intent to bring mind-body-spirit into balance.
