Our Hemp is locally grown and harvested. All items are handmade in Himachal Pradesh, Northern India.

Hemp is a Bast fibre plant, like Jute. Bast fibres are the inner bark or skin fibre providing strength to the stem of Dicotyledonous plants which have been used from prehistoric times. Hemp fibres are one of the strongest and most durable of all natural textile fibres. Hemp excels in fibre length, durability, strength and absorbency.

All hemp fabric is washed prior to sewing by our wonderful local tailors.
